Magnesium bisglycinate demonstrates better absorption than other magnesium supplements. A crossover study found that serum levels of magnesium over eight hours were highest for magnesium bisglycinate, followed by dimagnesium malate and magnesium oxide.
The glycine in this ingredient enhances its solubility and absorption by decreasing the pH of the intestines.
