This formulation combines vitamins B2 (riboflavin), B6 (pyridoxal 5’-phosphate), B12 (as methylcobalamin) and folate as L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (L-5-MTHF).

Folate (L-5-MTHF)

Folate helps maintain homocysteine levels within the normal range, which promotes cardiovascular health. Folate supports neurotransmitter synthesis as well, which is an essential part of cognitive health. People with healthy homocysteine levels have a greater chance of maintaining healthy cognitive function.

But not everyone’s body can utilize traditional folate supplements. Traditional forms of B6 must be converted to pyridoxal 5'-phosphate before your body can use it, but Homocysteine Resist contains 100 mg of pyridoxal 5'-phosphate that’s ready to work right from the start.
