In West Africa, black soap is known by its Yoruba name, Osse Dudu. Dudu means the color "black," which comes from extensive cooking of the soap to the point of charcoal. Apply a small amount into hand, lather, and apply to body with water for gentle cleansing. Suitable as a facial cleanser, body wash, shampoo, hand soap, and shaving soap.
