Made with Goodness!
Soon after we met, my husband Rob and I started our small, organic vegetable farm in northeastern Connecticut. We planted half an acre of asparagus on former pasture land and slowly expanded every year.
We use no chemical fertilizers, herbicides, or pesticides, instinctively knowing that the health of the soil and water is a priority. We compost, mulch, hoe, weed, and pick off foraging bugs. From the microorganisms in our soil, to the honey bees and butterflies pollinating, to the purple Martins swooping for insects - all contribute to our organic practices.
Working together, we are enhancing our tiny piece of Earth, and that's a beautiful thing.
Bye for now, Annie
